The current Pathfinder rate is $25 for a 30-minute Neighborhood Walk and $30 for a Woody Walk with pickup and about 30 minutes at a park, trail, or green space. Extra-pet rates are listed on this page. Pathfinder rates are for recurring weekly care; occasional Maverick care depends on availability, route, and fit.

Tom's Dogs is based in New London and serves New London, Waterford, Groton, Niantic, East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Mystic when the address, schedule, requested service, and existing route fit together.

Are walks solo or shared with another dog?

A Neighborhood Walk may be solo or shared with a compatible walking partner. The decision is based on the dog's comfort, handling needs, pace, and social fit rather than convenience.

What is the difference between a Neighborhood Walk and a Woody Walk?

A Neighborhood Walk is a structured 30-minute outing close to home. A Woody Walk includes pickup, transportation, and about 30 minutes at a suitable park, trail, or green space without the demands of a full pack hike.

Clients receive GPS tracking when applicable, real photos, and a straightforward report through Walkies.
